This is one of the longest day of my life. To begin with, I clocked 22 hours of waking time in this very session, within the perimeters of 22 oct, not to mention that I didn’t turn in early either on the night or should I say 23’s morning?
Well, the next day was the exams and there was still so much yet to be covered. I have been reading and it is not fast enough even when towards the end of the revision course I only concentrated on the things that the teachers super-highlighted for the test. Although I know that sleep is really important but I haven’t even read a large portion of the important parts and so going to sleep will def make me feel guilty. So I went on and on…really getting rather tired and hungry as it draws towards 4am.
At about 430am, I heard/saw (my door is translucdent) someone going into the living room and there was the noise from the kitchen. And there was wanhui in the kitchen preparing some vege soup, and as I pass by her room, I saw that serene was still awake. After I checked wanhui out in the kitchen, jinju came out of her room to do check out and then I saw that Karen also hasn’t turned in yet. So actually at 430 am the whole house hasn’t turned in yet. Cool right? Well, in the end I made myself instant bowl noodle. And fell asleep at about 530.
Rise and shine at 7am. Took the exam and it was terrible. The open-ended questions…I didn’t really know any of the answers or did not know how to write it. There is a section “explain the following terms” but I couldn’t, well, not in the written way. One of the questions asked for the explanation of the appendix and I could explain verbally or physically I know where it is, it’s the outer one third of the this and that but I didn’t really know how to put it into formal words with all the technical terms etc. And yes there were questions, I really didn’t know the ans to. After the paper, when I saw meixiu, I was like, “我们为什么做了无谓的挣扎？！”(why did we struggle redundantly? ) mexiu actually didn’t sleep the whole of the night before.
Poor us, we only had a couple of hours of rest before we had lessons continued in the afternoon. After that meixiu and I went to xidan. I wanted to go play house of the dead 4 in the arcade and she wanted to buy a pair of boots. We had sizzler for dinner after spotting its signboard outside one of the shopping centres. Well, we went into the restaurant, was shown a table and given a menu. Then in the menu, there was a special stand alone brochure for their ladies night special and I didn’t really bother about it and meixiu took it out of her menu and also removed mine, saying we don’t need this as it wasn’t Wednesday. I agreed. So we went on to look at all the other stuff and called the waitress to place our order. Then we placed our order and the waitress picked up the ladies night special brochure, recommending to us the offer and we were like “yeah, we know but it is not Wednesday today.” “it’s Wednesday today” ”it’s really Wednesday today?”meixiu and I looked at each other and exclaimed, “oh yeah it’s Wednesday” we were laughing at ourselves and the waitress was also rather amused. So ordered the ladies night spcial instead. Well, you see, technically speaking we should know that it was Wednesday as we stressed and mugged towards Wednesday’s paper. We had the whole of Monday and Tuesday for self revision and didn’t go to school, so for a moment or actually for a very long moment we both thought the lat 2 days was the weekend and that it was only Monday then. LOL…………….
Sizzler was really filling but the portions were really small. You see, there is a free flow salad bar with cream of mushroom soup, salad, crackers etc that was feeling. Then the portions of the main coure were really small. But the overall summation, I think that was the best meal I had in several days. Then we went to the arcade for a game or 2 then we quickly bought a pair of white boots for meixiu as it was already closing. The white boots was really timely as she was wearing flip flops and when we exited the building, it was raining and windy outside, so it was really a rescue.
Then on our way back on the train, she was really dead tired and I was just stoning, not really tired but I wasn’t really paying attention and so we missed the station which we were supposed to change train. Well, we only realized when we were on our way to the station after the station that we were suppose to change at. And so we took the train back to change the train.
Nothing much after……………..

Nothing special that I could remember.
Meixiu and I nearly went out on thurs but in the end the plan was called off.
It was really tempting not to go to starbucks since I was there the most of the past one week and the house was really getting cold….
25 oct sat:
Well. There was a group of classmate who wanted to go to fragrant hills to se the red leaves of winter and climb the hill etc and serene and jinju went too. I was kinda tempted to wana tag along but they were going to meet at the mrt station at a crazy 530 am and my bf was saying how crazy they are to want to go to the fragrant hills with such weather, the weather is turning cold and it was rather windy, so it would be even more cold and windy on the hills. I was glad I didn’t join them in the end…they were tired and some had frost bites/blister, no point tiring yourselves when you cant even get to the purpose of seeing the red leaves and have to put yourself through so much torture.
Then there was Karen and wanhui who went to 木须园 which is the distributor of the distributors of the 动物园area. I suppose they bought stuff but I can’t be bothered to ask really. One, I don’t really fancy such stuff. Two, I might very likely get axed there.
Well, my initial plan was to go over to my bf’s place for dinner but his sis sms me to go over for lunch at their place for 刷羊肉. So I went and his sis’s bf was also asked to come over for dinner too. There was only 4 of us, his mum, his sis, the sis’s bf and I. it was really filling and the father only came home towards the end and his voice sounded hoarse but it was actually because he had too much drinks in the last few days. He had just returned from the 5th wedding lunch in 2 days, drinking at every session of course.
During lunch, I was asking the sis if she had any work late and she didn’t and we wanted to see if we could go somewhere. After lunch, we were all so full, we all fell asleep and call off the plans. I was the worse. i fell asleep in the living room with his sis and half way through, his sis asked me to go to my bf’s room to sleep which I did and by the time I woke, it was already 7pm in the evening. Diner was ready, my bf’s dad cooked the beef which he was best at and it was the same few of us, including the dad and the sis’s bf. After dinner, the sis was asking if I want to watch some scary shows online with her and of course I was “on” about it. So much later into the night, after I bathed and she was ready, we went online to watch咒怨then I realized that it was actually Ju-on. we watched Ju on 1. Well, I watched all 3 before ut it was all parts here and there and so I didn’t mind watching it from the start again. But the sis was really freaked….
I think it’s either the family really like me, the love me or they just give in to me or something? They always treat me as part of them and I really like being at my bf’s place. I certainly sleep better when I am there to, in terms of quality and quantity too. Actually during dinner, I was really sad that my bf wasn’t there to eat with us. He was the only missing piece…sigh….

Left my bf’s place rather early in the morning to rush to si hui mrt station to meet my other classmates to go to some private, newly startup church and it was really a startup as it was actually in someone’s house?!
Then I rushed back home to put all my stuff before meeting mexiu to go to 女人街(ladies street). Well, it wasn’t as nice and as big as we thought it would be. Wel, we heard that there was such a place and the name alone sounds like there might be quite a bit of shopping there. But it was only a short lane with shops at the side. Then there was a shopping centre that was underground concept. As in the shopping centre only have levels 1, B1 and B2. In terms of floor area, it was rather big and there were quite a lot of shops but it was pretty warmth and there wasn’t much of shoppers around, til the point that you wonder how do these shops actually survive and we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Well, we both bought a few stuff each, I shan’t elaborate except that I got a pair of 3 inch stiletto black boots that can be worn to above and over the knee. I really liked it. But the amount of shops was disappointing as the volume won’t be able to satisfy the shopping desire of women.
Well, at night when I was on the phone with my bf and told him I bought the pair of boots. He asked if I can wear it. Of course I can. Well, I think there is a need for me to have a high heel boots that I like :P
